Book club

  1. A commercial company that sells new books through the mail to subscribers who must usually agree to purchase a minimum number of titles each year. A selection, or selection list, is normally sent to subscribers each month for approval. Some book clubs offer books of general interest, others specialize in books on a certain subject or within a specific field or fields.
  2. A group that meets to duscuss books.
