The European Association for health Information and Libraries was founded in 1987 in Brighton.
EAHIL conferences have taken place in different parts of Europe. Forthcoming events are: a workshop in Krakow (sept 2007), a conference in Helsinki (2008) and a workshop in Dublin (2009)
The association publishes a quarterly: The Journal of EAHIL.
