(Redirected from Presidential library)
Jump to: navigation, search

A special library devoted to the papers of a U.S. president, and other documents pertaining to his term in office. Usually located in the president's home town.

Presidential libraries can be found across the country, from Massachusetts to California. Visit one soon, and give yourself and your family the opportunity to explore the history of our nation and the leaders who helped shape our society.

Presidential libraries are usually in the news because the location for a new one is being decided, one is opening, or documents of interest are kept there (sometimes under restricted access).
