Printer

From LISWiki
Jump to: navigation, search
  1. A person or firm which prints a book or other document, as distinct from the publisher who issues the item, and the bookseller who offers it for sale. In older books the printer and publisher were often the same, but in modern book production this is not the case.
  2. Also refers to the device which actually produces the printed pages of a document, including computer peripherals capable of producing a printout.
