I'm a library student interested in new technologies for constructing digital libraries (e.g. Ruby on Rails). My question is, how does a digital library differ from any other database-driven website? The current article does not deal with this question, and in fact doesn't bring up the question of databases at all really. Any thoughts? Sam (spopowich@gmail.com)
