Journals vs. Library Journals[edit]

I think that "Journals" and "Library Journals" should be two separate articles. The former deals with journals in general, as part of a library collection, while the latter deals with journals *about* librarianship. I'm the one who originally created articles about "Library Journal," "American Libraries," etc. and I guess I can understand that maybe there isn't enough information to warrant a separate entry for each journal title. But I still think that Library Journals, as a group, should have their own entry, separate from general Journals. -Jaclyn 1/24/06

Good points, Jaclyn. All of the entries in Category:Directories are listed jointly with definitions like this, except for chat reference libraries, which has grown enough to be separate from the virtual reference entry. So my thinking was to keep the directory listings together with the definitions until there's enough to warrant splitting into two separate articles. My revision on 6/18/07[edit]

I accidentally started making revisions before I logged in, so I undid the revisions, then logged in and revised it again. Just in case anyone was confused by this page's history. Jaclyn Jaclyn 08:26, 18 June 2007 (PDT)
