Trustees
From LISWiki
As with a public school and its School Board, many public libraries have a Board of Trustees which provides oversight and has a varying degree of authority regarding issues such as staffing and collection management.
Library trustees often make the news for enacting changes in these areas, such as by firing a library director or removing materials from the collection.
