A cartoon is a drawing, frequently published in a magazine or newspaper, caricaturing or symbolizing in a satirical manner, some action, situation, or person of current interest. In newspapers, political cartoons usually appear on the editorial page. The creator of such a drawing is known as a cartoonist.
