Florida Library Association
The Florida Library Association (FLA) was first established in Miami in 1905. The Mission of the Florida Library Association is to promote excellence in Florida libraries by advocating strongly for libraries and providing high quality professional and leadership development for a diverse community of library staff, volunteers, and supporters.
Membership for a library employee is based on income if your a librarian, for new Florida MLS Graduates, students and retired librarians the fee is $25 for the year. Membership benefits include: Discounted registration to the annual conference and other continuing education events, access to Florida Libraries semi-annual journal, FLA email lists, scholarship opportunities, awards for libraries and individuals, and employment Information.
