Talk:Blended librarianship

Blended librarianship is the wave of the future. All students studying to become librarians should have the blended librarian skills after graduating. Without these skills, the new librarians will be in the dark about their duties. These skills prepare new librarians for their duties in the workplace.

This new wave of the present and future leaves existing librarians without technological skills at a disadvantage. Most of these people are about to retire and do not want to learn the new technology. They say they are too old to learn, but they will need most of this knowledge in real life.

Integrating technology with the library profession makes librarianship new and exciting. Technological skills are needed by everyone and it is exciting to have them integrated into the library profession
