The World Wide Web (or WWW, Web) is a system based on hypertext that allows the user to explore and connect to Internet resources. Hypertext allows links between documents.
The Web is a global network of information available on computers connected to the Internet. Most Web pages are written in HTML script. To see the HTML code for the document you are presently reading, click on View in the toolbar of your Web browser and then select Document source from the drop-down menu.
