Microfilm (reels), microfiche (cards), or microprint (opaque), microform is a general term referring to all media for storing miniaturized text and graphics on film or paper. Many organizations still publish microforms. Reader/printer machines are usually available in libraries with microform holdings for viewing and making copies. Modern microform readers can print and save digital copies.
